@ indoor park

We belong to an Indoor Play Park. It's "where we play on rainy days" as their slogan goes... Anyway... This place has toys galore... Play structures, play houses, dolls, bikes, cars, trains... You get the idea. What does Shyanne do when we go there.......? She heads over to the baby-toy bin, grabs a bunch of toys, and piles her baby brother's lap high with baby toys. She then spends her time entertaining him, and loving every minute!! This girl & this boy have a special bond! Its sooo sweet to watch!

Little Peanut

It's hard to follow Mackenzie's photos with ANY pictures - because they all seem mediocre compared to hers! But here's my sweet pea, unedited, and I still thing he's pretty darn cute! P.S.  Brock FINALLY started laughing Wednesday night. He took his sweet time meeting this milestone but ooooo his laugh was worth the wait. HEART-MELTING!

Pumpkin Patch 2011

What can I say? I have become SO efficient at uploading photos, editing them, and getting them on my computer (all w/o internet!!) that we just went to the pumpkin patch today and I've already whipped out this post (as well as cleaned my house, gave my girls a bath, went out for dinner w/ a girlfriend, and spent time chatting with my hunny!) I'm AMAZING! or else I stole a few pix from a special someone! We met my parents up in Aurora today (Naomi & I) to take the kids to a "Pumpkin Patch" they'd seen advertised.  Quite the Pumpkin Patch. Tractor/Barrel Ride:  Crazy Hay Bales: A Hazelnut House (2 inches deep inside!): A Bouncy House:  Pony Rides: Beautiful Aunties: Beautiful babies:    How can two babies be so very different from each other, and yet be so incredibly BEAUTIFUL??      O ya... and there were PUMPKINS!!!  and finally.... I ADORE this picture!! Love my babies!!!! Thank you Nonnie & Papa fo...

Brock 3 months - the blacks & the whites

And a few more:    * These photos were taken in a beautiful cradle that was hand crafted by my father-in-law.  You can only get a glimpse of it in a few pictures but it is beautifully crafted work of art, and I will treasure it always! I love his eyes in the last two pictures.  They're piercingly beautiful.

Brock 3 months

All photography credit goes to the lovely Mackenzie Rice! Visit her blog @ http://www.lilybirdphotography.blogspot.com/   for more of her beautiful work, or to schedule a photo shoot! * These photos were taken in a beautiful cradle that was hand crafted by my father-in-law.  You can only get a glimpse of it in a few pictures but it is beautifully crafted work of art, and I will treasure it always! This is one of my favorites: Leave a comment! Tell me (& Kenz) what you think!

Wordless Wednesday

It's a bird!

It's a plane.... It's....

Mom & Me

*thanks Kenz for snapping these shots at church the other night! If I don't ask I suppose I'll never have pictures of me and him! *thanks Naomi for a little editing! :) And now... A smile!

Nonnie and her boys

Nonnie's been jealous of the great picture Papa took w/ Brock and Koa a few months back... Today she was so desperate for a shot w/ her grandsons, that she plopped down in front of Subway and demanded a photo shoot (: We were quite the site w/ two cameras & a smart phone shooting pictures of her and the boys: calling out their names, making funny faces, and just overall making a scene! It was great (: Thanks to Naomi, we've got some great shots here! Koa was only willing to flash a smile if his Mommy ROAR'd at him. Talk about hilarious! What a little ham!  Somehow she never quite captured it on her camera (probably too busy roaring!) but I think I caught it on my mom's camera (Therefore, you'll never see it!) I think Nonnie is one PROUD grandma! These boys are BEAUTIFUL!

a few girls...

Today we went for a walk w/ buckets. We had a mission.  Last week Kyah and I had read an article about a fun fall project and I promised her we'd do it this week! We only stopped once, to be dogs in BiMart's dog kennels.... We collected rocks, sticks, & playdough (we stopped at the dollar tree too!) and headed home to make our Autumn creations. Wa-la! Four fall trees and 4 SWEET girls!   What a fun project!   Thanks HIGHLIGHTS Magazine for the great idea!

3 months

3 months today.  Can you believe it? I can't. How can it be??? Waaaaahhhh! He seems so very little to me and yet 3 months sounds so much bigger than 2 months.  I think the treat for me is because Brock was a lb and a half smaller than Natalee at birth, he really is still smaller than she was at this age.  I'm sure NOT FOR LONG! (:  Here he is. Just beautiful. Unedited.  O I love my baby o so much!!
