Natalee turns 9!!

Miss Natalee started off her birthday preparations with a morning at the orthodontist. Since she had chosen a St. Patrick's Day theme for her party, she had to add the finishing touch of GREEN rubber bands on her braces...   I think it turned out pretty cute!!  Her party was the day after St. Patricks day... so a rainbow & green shamrock theme took over the kitchen! We found clearance Old Navy St. Patty's day t-shirts to sweeten the theme... and a dear friend made St. Patty's day hair clips! Throw in a few gold coins, some Lucky Charms cereal & some shamrocks... and you've the the makings of a GREEN tea party!  Nonnie let us use her precious tea cups and saucers that we are treasure from Grandma Westbrook! Maga arrived to sweeten the deal with darling rainbow cupcakes. They just made the decor too cute!  A few friends & we were ready to party!! My little artist girl:   She request...

My 6 babies

I needed some pics of all 6 so St. Patricks day,  I forced a torture-some photo shoot!  I am so glad I did!  These beauties are the end product...  And I am so GLAD we captured these 6 loves! And I am so glad they are MINE!!!!

First few week home..

Home.  It's a blur looking back. I know I pumped a lot... 7-8 times a day.... Breast feeding became a luxury I could rarely afford to try.... He didn't want to...  and seemed inefficient when we attempted it...  He was always hungry afterward. So I pumped... He bottle fed.... and we attempted to find a normal... after a lactose intolerance diagnosis from his pediatrician...  amongst his 5 brothers and sisters..... house work... school drop off and pick ups... Daddy time.... Not a lot of time to try. Once a day.... sometimes twice.  He didn't like it...  so back to the bottle it was. I put off scheduling a lactation appointment... Didn't really have time for one... and yet I knew we needed direction... and help.  Sometimes he would just scream and scream with no attempt to latch.  He was frustrated. I was frustrated.  Finally, I scheduled an appointment.  W...

Marvel Live!

For Christmas, my sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, & Mother & Father-inlaw SPOILED my kiddos with an awesome gift!! Tickets to Disney Magic (think Disney on ice - but not on ice - and with a magic show) & a night out in Portland to the Spaghetti Factory.  My kids were counting down the days... SO EXCITED... But two days before the special night.... I was hospitalized with pre-eclampsia. I think I was more upset about missing the show with my kids, than the fact that I was in the hospital!! So when Johnny called to tell me he had cancelled the show.... I cried.  I was heart-broken for my kids. LUCKILY, my sister-in-law was able to get us refunds some how... and Johnny promised that once Sawyer was born.... we would find something to take the kids to.... and make it up to them. So when I saw that Marvel Live was coming to the Moda center... I asked the girls what they thought... would they like to watch a super hero show to replace their Disney tickets?? ...

A baby shower for Sawyer

Well I have a whopping 3 pictures from Sawyer's sweet baby shower :)  Maybe if Naomi has any more to send me I'll update this at some point! Needless to say, my sister & mom blessed us with a darling shower  and my friends and family blessed us with darling clothes and blankets and bottles and accessories for my last little one.  (My wonderful MIL who spoils all my babies with her love!) So very grateful for such wonderful family & friends.  We are truly blessed.
