Days with Daddy home are special treat days for us. When those days aspen to fall on a day when I have Kyah & Alyssa and would otherwise be stuck at home all day, it's even a bigger treat! Today was one of those days! Since 6 kids don't fit in my van, we decided to have an adventure on the bus & around town! We were about 20 minutes early for the bus so I entertained the girls by having them pose for Various pictures. Most of the pictures are on my camera, not my phone, but here's a few... j Alyssa-Lou. Such a happy sweet pea! Silly Faces... on the bus... The Sun's In Our Eyes!! The river was crazy high... So fun to watch A little video: Sitting On an Otter, Out of the Water!!

Well... I could beat myself up for only getting out 4/7 days last week... Or just move on :) today was FORCED to say the least. I DID NOT want to step one foot Outside. But i did. We only lasted About 10 Minutes before Everyone was numb... But we went Out. Here's the "after" pix. It was all I could do to get them to smile... They were begging to come inside! Picnic outside! We are so grateful for these beautiful days!!!

In contrast to the sad, pathetic picture a few posts down, here's Brock ENJOYING food :). As you can see by some of his 6 month photos, he's chubbing up quite nicely! Enjoy the video

Johnny argues that my title shouldn't be Getting Outside 365 because my resolution was 5/7 days per week. But for some reason, "Getting Outside 260", doesn't have the same ring to it :) either way, we're still going strong... The only thing better than getting outside more, is getting outside with friends!

Brock is 6 months old. It is so hard to believe. It really is. He is the world's sweetest baby. Happy & very content. He started grabbing his toes on Christmas eve, a few weeks shy of his 6 month birthday. He has recently started doing something productive with the excessive amounts of drool pouring from his mouth: raspberries! He has mastered the art of blowing raspberries these past few weeks as well. He moves a lot without much purpose, turning in complete 360's while on his tummy, as well as scooting backward. He rolls very well although he rarely uses rolling as a method of transportation. Usually he rolls just when he gets tired of his tummy/back. I don't have his 6mo stats yet... His appt is Wednesday.
