Every 6 months we send an update to Shyanne & Hollie's birthmom. Often it's a Shutterfly or Snapfish book. Last year I sent Prinstagram.com pictures.  I really enjoy compiling the books - it makes me wish I took the time to do it for myself! Shyanne turned 7 on December 12... or was it December 13? I can never remember! One of those days is her birthday and the other day is my anniversary....  O yes... Dec 13!  We started off her day with a gift from Mom & Dad and a special gift flown all the way from Virginia from Tia Allison! She was pretty excited!   At school she got to be "Special Person" and share her birthday gift, as well as provide a birthday treat and be line leader for the day. Pretty much the coolest day EVER!!! With the crazy weather - snow days - ice - freezing weather - we had to cancel and reschedule her birthday party two different times!  Finally we all got together and headed to Dallas for her birthday party! She was very blessed with fun birthday gifts.  We had a nice time with friends and family too!  She managed to master this strange smile at this party! I had to delete about 12 of the same picture with the same strange smile ...

This sweet little boy makes our days full of joy! Before he was born I remember thinking, what will I do with a boy? I've never been around boys... and all I know is girls!  But of course... I figured it out... and man, what a joy it's been! I'm sure I've said this before on here, but Brock is 100% boy - if not 110%! He loves all things boyish: tractors, cars, balls, trains, planes, backhoes, trackhoes (I don't even know the difference!), spiderman (he doesn't even know who Spiderman is!) footballs, baseballs, ANY balls, etc. He's been officially potty trained since the week after Thanksgiving.  I came home with a new potty chair on black friday and he literally had maybe 1 accident in his first week. It just really clicked for him and he is soo proud to be such a big boy! He LOVES working with Papa, Paga & Daddy, and he's such a good little helper (although it's not always HELPFUL!)
