Spring break was beautiful at the beach! We headed down for a day trip to do whatever we pleased!
We started in Depoe Bay to check out some shops and the whale watching exhibits.
The kids were excited to try to spot some whales... and the visitor/ whale-watching center was super helpful in pointing out blowholes and helping us know where to look!
Beautiful girls!!!!!
They decided the anchor was a good picture-op!
Having my parents there, meant I actually got a picture with my kiddos! Yay!! <3 p="">3>
Nonnie & Papa's hotel room was literally 10 feet from the sand! We played for hours!!! Papa taught the kids the ins & outs of a good construction hole! :)
A long walk with Nonnie was in order... with a race to the top of the rock. Hollie was the winner!!!

Johnny drove up after work and we booked a older
(all that was left on Spring Break for a family of 7) hotel room near my parents.
While we probably would never stay there again because there are more modern, updated options for the same price, it was FUN to be spontaneous and enjoy a night away.
Right down the street from our hotel, was a little diner that boasted $3 breakfasts! Music to our ears!! It was perfect with a great portion for the $3 and more than enough to feed our clan! Win-win!

On our way into town, we passed a new Dinosaur store that had just opened. We could see a dinosaur MOVING inside as we drove by... so of course on our way out of town, I just HAD to take the kids!
So much fun! Connor was slightly terrified.. but the kids thought it was great!
Such a fun end-of-Spring-Break treat for us all!!! So glad that we were able to do this!!!
