Connor turns 5!

This sweet bundle of joy was just born YESTERDAY... and yet, here he is, turning 5! Waaaahhhhhhh!!! He is still obsessed with Paw Patrol...  and requested more Paw Patrol loot to build his collection. He is such a little ham... and definitely a unique part of our family.  He LOVES to play imaginary play and it's torture to get him to do a teeny tiny chore.  He is forever playing, no matter what the toy options are. No toys? How about a toothbrush as a plane?   Or heck, even two rocks a stick will work!!  Just let this kid PLAY!!! Sawyer is his play-mate buddy. They have the same imagination and they LOVE to play (sometimes fight!) together.  He will start Kindergarten in the fall and Sawyer is going to MISS him so much. This Momma is sad to lose my special time with this sweet boy as well! He still is, and hopefully will always be, my little cuddle bug! He has a soft spot for his momma! I pray that never changes. He melts me! ...

Sawyer turns 2!

Brock turned 6!!!

Happy birthday Brock and Koa! We celebrated these twin cousins at the park in McMinnville with a Avengers theme!  Love these pictures and love these sweet boys!  For some reason we don't have many pics of him opening gifts... but know that he was blessed as he is a blessing to US!!! We love you Brocky!

Natalee is 10!

My Sweet Natalee turned 10! We decided to have a small family party before a choir concert with her favorite dinner and cake.                                                                     Maga got her a nightgown- with a robe to go with it! The district choirs- the Elementary, Middle, and High Schools - joined to have a concert                                                               It was beautiful!                                             She's in the first row, somewhere on the right :) Later that w...

Hollie is 9!!!

Hollie turned nine on May 6, 2017!! She chose to have an outing with her BFF Grace Thompson. We started our day with a very exciting event: Hollie had been waiting to get her ears pierced for several years. She was so excited!!! After the first ear, she wasn't quite as excited 😳 After pinning her down, I'm sure she was grateful to not have just one hole (ha ha ) Next, Nonnie took Hollie shopping let her pick out her own present (shoes!) SO FUN!) Next we headed to GetAir for a fun jumping session.  The girls burned a LOT of energy!! After jumping, we headed to Red Robin with Nonnie. Grace made sure the Red Robin employees sang Happy Birthday to Hollie (and thoroughly embarrassed our girl!). Such a fun memory and fun day!!! WE LOVE YOU SWEET HOLLIE MAY!!! YOU BRING JOY TO OUR LIVES!! \

We will miss you Gramps

Gramps & me :)  My wonderful Grandpa Brock went to be with Jesus in the early hours yesterday morning.  He will be deeply missed. While our hearts long for more time with him,  we are so glad he is out of pain and finally home. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather & great grand father. I will never know how his prayers and love for our family influenced our lives, until eternity. But I can say that his testimony of coming to Jesus will forever impact me. My favorite memories will always be of the time with Granny and Gramps with  my  kids.  I will also always treasure the memories of camping at Gramps' property in the summers, cousins reunions, Christmases and Holidays around the family tables, and sharing love and stories of years gone by. I was so grateful for the way Granny and Gramps loved on my girls, before they were even OURS. They blessed Shy, Hollie, (and Natalee) with Christmas gifts and wrapped them in their ...

Spring Break Extravaganza

Very usual circumstances aligned this year during Spring Break, and Johnny had the entire week off. We have never had that happen before and we were sooo thrilled! We didn't have much planned at the beginning of the week, but felt like we just HAD to make the most of it! So we kicked off the week with an impromptu trip to Portland's "The Art of the Brick" OMSI exhibit.  It was fascinating to see incredible duplication of art - made entirely out of Legos. Mona Lisa made entirely out of Legos Famous farmer picture My kids don't have any Easter island associations with this statue. They watched Night at the Museum at Auntie Jen's last week and all they could say was "Dumb dumb give me gum-gum"  Photo bomb by Daddy! T-Rex made from Legos  Pencil & paper made from Legos Floor, Table, fruit bowl, easel, art, all from legos Tree huggers Free play at the end of the exhibit Cutie Displayi...
