Just in case you missed it...

My first video post! I have been so very frustrated with my inability to upload videos.... and tonight.... wa-la! I figured it out! It takes forever to upload but it was well worth it! Now you can hear Natalee say "Rocka-Rocka" in person! If you missed it, click here

Natalee driving...

Natalee got this little outfit from my mom: tank top, capris, and sandals... She's heading out to go driving... Our landlords have a little police car that is Natalee's recent obsession. Every time we come outside she wants to get in the car (the police car) and not into the van to go where ever we're heading. She now knows how to open the door... and climb in herself... she just can't quite get it to drive on her own... I'm sure that's soon to come... (:

Rocka-Rocka

First some background: Every time my Dad puts Natalee on her rocking horse, he rocks her back and forth saying "rocka-rocka-rocka". Now we do it when she's sitting in her rocking chair. So she hears "rocka" all the time. Now she says it... only it kinda sounds like "wota-wota-wota-wota" or "awtah-awtah-awtah" It is sooooooo cute!!! Today I got her out of the bath and as I was drying her off she kept saying "Rocka-Rocka" in her own little way. As soon as I let her go she headed straight for her rocking chair naked as a jay bird, climbed up and rocka-rocka'd (: Such a cutie! Push Play to watch the video! (the arrow button)

Natalee's first friend

Natalee has a friend. Her name is Kyah. She is the sweet little girl that I watch a few times each week. They are just a month apart in age and too sweet together! They play really well for the most part. I love it most when I catch them in their own little worlds and having a grand ol' time! How fun to have a "first friend"! Natalee says "Hi Yi-ya" when ever Kyah arrives! Too cute!

Natalee my little helper

I just had to share what Natalee just did.. I walked into the bedroom because she was being awfully quiet in there, and discovered she had pulled about 20 items of clothing out of the laundry basket (quite a usual event for her!). I just stood there and stared at her, raised my eye brows and tried to conceal the smile sneaking at the corner of my lips. And she immediately started putting everything back in the laundry basket! It cracked me up. As if she was saying, o sorry, I'll put this back right away! (: It didn't last long before she started pulling everything back out, but it was too cute how she stopped and started cleaning up her own mess. That was a first! ooo.. .that reminds me... Tuesday while we were with Johnny's mom at the elementary school... Natalee did dump an entire bucket of dominoes over and started picking them up and putting them back... so I guess today wasn't the first! But either way, it's cute!

Little Green Froggie

With all this rain, Natalee had to make good use of her raincoat and rain boots. I think she knows she's cute! (: I ate... a little mac & cheese all by myself (can you tell?)

Nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh

Natalee says "no" only is sounds like "nuh". She has perfected the use of this word. She repeats it after me. She walks around the house touching things that she shouldn't touch saying "nuh", and she touches things and looks at me and says "nuh" as if to ask if this is ok for her to play with. Today it was in the kitchen. She said "nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh" the entire time she pulled out all of the tupperware. When that got boring she headed over to the food cupboard and pulled out boxes of crutons, cereal, cake mix, etc... "Nuh-nuh-nuh-nuh"! Hmmm..... Today after Natalee had been off playing (and squating) in the corner for a while, she wandered over to me and I picked her up. (sorry, no pictures!) She had been pooping so I walked into the bedroom and said "Phew you pooped!" and she immediately said "Bi-per" (diaper)!! Whadda ya think?? Could potty training be that easy? If she associates diaper with...
