Bud-do

Bah-du Bud-you  Bahd-you  We're not quite sure how to spell it...  But it's Brock-dialect for....  "Love you!"  And it's sooooooooooooooooooo cute!

O miss Hollie

O the things that she says... I had to grab these from my Instagram account just to make sure I never forget these things she says...  This one killed me because when she first said, "Mom, look at the giraffe in that car", I thought she saw  a bumper sticker, or maybe an emblem, or a stuffed animal.  Then I looked up. and BURST out laughing... And... we're still working on the words to songs...  Not really all that funny miss Hollie. Not funny at all.  I think it's time for your first toilet cleaning! Extremely obsessed with the Musketeers lately... she's SURE I'm praying about them...  And last but CERTAINLY not least... My favorite one...  I love you sweet Hollie girl!!! Now we will never forget these things you say!!

Beach 2013

O we had a glorious vacation this year! Time slowed down for us... the weather cooperated nicely.... and we had a wonderful time together!  (the beach house where we stayed... the girls are just a little  excited!) Last year we scored a few vacation days at this wonderful beach house waaaaay below market price (so I found out this year!) This year we planned a trip back for 6 whole days and we shared the rental price with Jason and Naomi.  Last year it was March = rain. This year August = {we hoped} SUN! (for the most part we lucked out!).  The beach house sleeps 9-12 with three stories so there was plenty of room for us, my 5 kids and Jason, Naomi & Koa. Day 1: Gorgeous weather! My sister and me! My sweetie, me and baby #5 Nonner Benjamin  Let's Go Fly a Kite!  His eyes are only for me! These two are just TOO fun together!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE! Day 4: Not the greatest weather but we still went to the beach...

Where does time go? Brock 2 years and 1 month

It is harder for me to sit down and blog these days... but I don't want to stop completely. Looking back through my blog I have found so many little tidbits I'd forgotten just in the last few years. My blog is a treasure trove of memories for me and my kiddos. I don't want to stop compiling the little anecdotal stories that make up our every day life. When I look back and read them to the girls, they absolutely LOVE it! So w/o further ado... BROCK SAMUEL: What he's doing now: *plays imaginary play with Hollie more than any of the other girls. *Sneaks outside every chance he gets. I swear this kid would live outside if he could! *Plays in dirt, digs in dirt, rocks etc. *love, loves, LOVES binkies. borderline obsessed with binkies. if he has one, he needs two.. if he has three, four wouldn't be too many. He steals them from Connor, mom, sisters, ANYONE! He has a binky honing device that assist in the location of lost binkies. and if he needs to climb u...

Ballet & Tap: The Movie

and... just for fun... COMING SOON TO A THEATRE NEAR YOU

An interesting 4th of July...

Our day was planned to be busy and fun! First our 5th annual 4th of July picnic at Discovery Park... Followed by fireworks with Daddy and city of Corvallis firework too!  Meeting the cousins at discovery park is always a highlight for the girls! They have so much fun... And the older they get, the more independent they are, the more fun for me! :)  (Left to right: Cameron, Natalee, Shyanne, Hollie, Taylor) This was actually the only photos i took on my phone before Hollie broke her arm :/  And... The rest of the day went downhill from there!  Hollie came running over from the playground crying and holding her arm tenderly... And my suspicions continued as she sat crying and refusing to let anyone touch it. Apparently a kid was putting water down the big spiral slide, and Hollie was going a little too fast!  After the McMinnville ER told us it was broke... They also told us they needed to admit her to watch for swelling that could potentially cut off the blow flo...
