Say Cheese!

Have you ever tried to take a good picture?
And tried...

And tried...

And tried.... And while some might be kinda cute, it's not quite the look you were going for?We were going for sweet, elegant, encompassing the spirit of Christmas through the photo...

We got goofy. Wild. Crazy. and just plain weird.
Nothing super elegant.
And that's only with the 6 pictures I took on my camera.
My mom took at least a million more... [sigh] Someday... we'll be so thrilled for these little moments captured.
We won't care that they're not picture perfect.
We'll love the character and attitude captured.

Come to think of it...
I'm thrilled now.
I don't care that they're not picture perfect.
This my little Natalee on her 2nd Christmas...
a moment I will never again capture.
Thank goodness for these sweet pictures!

I totally know how you feel! I went and bought another camera that is better at taking pictures faster for this purpose. The delay was bad. Also, I learn to just keep snapping away. Maybe, just maybe, I'll get a good one out of the thirty I took. LOL. I'm starting to really just enjoy natural pics now. If you look at my latest blog, I caught some really great natural (non-posed) pics. I love them the best. :)

ooops!

I just realized that those "8 Month" pics I posted a few days ago weren't the 8 month pix.  They were more like one day shy of 7 month pictures... and THESE are the 8 month pictures! ha. o well... not much difference.  My editing was terrible in the 7 month pix - these are unedited, and probably for the best since it's not my strong suite! ha! (isn't this outfit from Nonnie ADORABLE!?) Love, love, love this one:    This is a typical face.  If he's not sucking in his lip, he's spitting and soaking his shirt with drool! (sorry so blurry - just had to remember this face!)
