Ok. It's not really that funny... it's just that in the last 30 minutes - I've taken 89 pictures on my new camera! I went to upload these "few" and it said, "Import 89 pictures?" Holy cow! So, while it would be funny to post 89 pictures here... I have neither the time, nor desire... so here's a few of the best... (I will be taking that dumb DATE stamp off my camera immediately! If I can figure out how!) Natalee woke up from her nap first. She had the pool to herself for 15 minutes or so... I told her it would be crowded very soon... this was her solution: So we did it! Heck, why not! Maybe we should just buy 3 more pools! Then we could just fill them all the girls could play in their own! ha! Shyanne woke up next. It's 11:07 and I told myself I can not go to bed tonight with out sitting down and putting my thoughts and feelings into writing. A year ago today I received the call. Johnny and I were so excited. He in Arizona. I here. We had had many-a-call in the previous months that didn't work out for whatever reason - this looked like it was going to work! When I arrived at DHS in Salem, 2 caseworkers walked out into the waiting room holding my two girls. Shy smiled shyly - Hollie didn't really seem to know what was going on. The case worker walked me to the car, helped me load the girls, and told me to drive around back to pick up a box of their stuff. Two quiet little girls in my back seat. Two girls I knew nothing about. Being ripped for the second time, from the only family they knew. It breaks my heart just typing it. Placed in a car with a perfect stranger. I drove around back and loaded my car w/ their boxes of belonging. A few clothes, fifty-million sippies, a scattering ...

You don't even realize how they change until you look back! I remember meeting the girls for the for the first time. They were so sweet and quiet. I loaded them into Pastor's truck (they used my van to get to the airport for conference) and headed back to Corvallis. I asked Shyanne if they were hungry, I didn't know if they had eaten or anything. She said yes. What to get? I didn't know what these girls would eat. I figured a bean burrito was safe, so I pulled into Taco Bell and ordered one. By the time we were through the drive through, both girls were passed out asleep. ha! So I headed home. Huband-less for 4 more days, hoping I could handle 3 girls under two on my own! Needless to say, it was a bit more than I could handle. Sweet Bea from McMinnville came to my rescue and stayed with me the rest of the week. I remember telling my mom, "When I am even going to get a shower?!??!?" I think the first two nights I didn't get them all down to sleep unti...

...and we didn't even know it! Johnny left the next day for Prescott Conference... and a few days later I received a phone call from Marion County DHS that changed our lives forever!

Well... I never did figure out how to get my pictures to be vertical instead of horizontal instead of vertical on Photobucket - so we'll have to settle for smaller versions of the rest of these beautiful pictures! This picture of Hollie is one of my favorite-est pictures EVER! Isn't Kenz an AMAZING photographer? And I'm so very grateful to have a picture or two that actually prove I'm the mother to these girlies! and not just their permanent photographer! (:
