My sweet baby boy had a simple little cake & family birthday party on Thursday night. I whipped out a few cute touches with my wonderful cricut paper cutter. My kiddos birthdays always have to have a banner... (ok not always... but often....!) The little cupcake toppers were fun...  Cupcakes were a yellow cake mix with cookie dough centers.  I don't know how they tasted because I didn't eat one... but they got rave review from  some  party attendees... 1/2 the batch was a little iffy because  someone  turned off the oven without me knowing it! But in the end... no one will remember I suppose! (:   Frosting was chocolate chips melted with heavy whipping cream (what's not to love!?!?). We added a few "C"'s and "1"'s to the cupcakes, candies & water bottles. I love it! The non-readers in the family were convinced this banner said "Connor" and/or "Connor's birthday" (: Chocolat...

Everyone says it.... And I've said it a million times on this blog.... But where does the time go?!? When did this: Become THIS: One year stats: Weight: 21lbs 13oz Height: 29.25 Walked at 11 &1/2 months  Words: all done (also signs it), dad (also hi dad), mama, nigh-night (only said this twice, mostly just waves bye-bye)   Sweet baby boy! You bring such joy to our lives. Every morning you wake us with a sweet happy spirit!!! Your relationship with each of your siblings is unique and sweet... But your pure adoration and love for Brock is over the top! You two adore each other!!!! I am so blessed to be your Momma. I can not wait to see you unique personality grow and bloom little man!  We thank Jesus that He gave us you!!!  Happy birthday Connor Benjamin!!

My sweet mother-in-law blessed my kiddos a few days before valentines day with these DARLING sweatshirts!  On Valentines Day we bought ballons and brought them to Daddy. We love spoiling/embarrassing him at work ;)  I kinda love these photos  Happy heart day!! 

Well I think we might have broken some records with this snow. 16 inches! Corvallis had more than anywhere around. The kids loved it of course!  My little hard worker.  After the snow had melted he went outside with a snow shovel and asked, "where snow go?!?" Little cutie!  He loves to work! After a few days of being stuck at home, I had kids begging me to come out to check the mail. Here's a shot of Hollie & Brock after they had  just tried to make it thought snow that came up to their thighs. I finally made them stop in a packed-down spot while I finished the traipse across the street to get the mail. It was crazy how deep it was!! After 5 days of being stuck at home.... Enough had melted to drive up to Newberg.  I surprised my parents.... Which was super fun! As we pulled in the driveway, they pulled out all their sleds & snow toys and spoiled my kiddos!!  Coolest baby sled! Connor would not stop smiling & laughing!  Such a fun time! I l...

Well.. considering that its the month of his birth, I thought I'd finally get around to putting Connors birth into a video. I can't believe it's been 1 year... Where does the time go? How is it possible? Ok... here he is, just yesterday... or well.. a few days ago... The Birth of Connor Benjamin: 

I stole this idea from another blog I follow... I love the idea of asking the questions every 6-12 months to see how the responses change.   Age 2 & 1/2 years Most of Brocks responses involved him rolling on the ground and laughing without responding.  When I finally got a response, I'm not sure that it was true, as much as whatever happened to be around at the moment (: Questions: 1) What is something that Mommy says to you?  "No play tractors!" 2) What makes you happy?  uh, Connor! 3. Every 6 months we send an update to Shyanne & Hollie's birthmom. Often it's a Shutterfly or Snapfish book. Last year I sent Prinstagram.com pictures.  I really enjoy compiling the books - it makes me wish I took the time to do it for myself!
