Happy birthday Sis!!

My baby sister is 26 years old today!  She is such a wonderful woman of God! She is a wonderful mother and friend.  I am so grateful that she lives near me and I am spoiled to get to spend as much time with her as I do. I love her sweet babies and I love the bond that I get to share with them. And I love the bond between my kiddos and her kids! I know better than to take this special season of our lives together for granted... I know we won't be together forever so I'm very grateful for this time!  I love you sis! 😘

a few group photos for a glimpse at our days

Totally random from this summer! 1) Daddy & the kiddos up on an axel and some BIG wheels… found on our walk through McDonald Forest 2) Mommy & the kids all piled in my bed reading bedtime stories 3) Three kiddos all heading in to meet their teachers before school started.  1st, 2nd, & 2nd grades!! All in the same school and no more 1/2 day pick up! woohoo!!  (don't get me wrong.. I loved having Hollie in half day & so glad she was home the other half… I just hated the pickup!!) 4) and my FAVORITES!!!! A group photo shoot for Gramps & Papa Brock's birthday! LOVE LOVE LOVE everything about these pictures!  Koa - age 3, Hollie - age 6, Connor - age almost 18 mo. Natalee - age 7, Norah - age 11 months, Shyanne - age 7 & 1/2, Brock- age 3 That's if for today!!!

Connor is 18 months!

Yes I have thoroughly fallen off of the blogging wagon… today I am playing a little catch up and I've got to share about my baby!!  Where did 18 months go? And why does it go so fast!?! (although it's crazy to think that when Brock was 18 months I was 8 & 1/2 months pregnant!!) This little guy…is such a little treasure. He lights up our days. He's got us all wrapped around his chubby little fingers. He brings joy and fun and laughter each and every day.   but he is a spit fire! There might just be a teensy bit of a strong-willed child hiding out behind his cute smile! Especially when someone asks him to do something that crosses his WILL!  Like stand for two second and take a pic on a big chair!   BUT… he is a little gem too! He has a growing vocabulary and i really need to document but it includes all sorts of manners (please, thank you, 'cuse me) and he will repeat just about anything you say! Maga taught him to say his name, which ...

Hollie May my sweet 6 year old!

Sweet Hollie May turned 6 years old this year! She is growing and blossoming into a lovely young lady. We have seen so much growth in her this year as she entered kindergarten. She is starting to read and she is so proud of all her accomplishments this year!  We had a family party at our house this year. Hollie requested "birds" as her theme. (We'll use word theme veeeery loosely :)) Hollie's momma made homemade pizzas and breadsticks. Everything was YUMMY! It was so very nice to spend time with family and visit! It doesn't happen often enough! Hollie still loves all things baby and she got babies & baby accessories galore! She also got spoiled in numbers of shoes she received for her birthday (a desperate need in her life!!) Her momma & she were both in  love with the fun clothes she was blessed with on her birthday.

Easter 2014

These beautiful tutus came from Maga just in time for Easter!  The photo shoot wasn't our happiest moment in history... But the photo are so cute, once again, it was worth it!  And the aftermath.... And... We quickly ditched the idea of a cousins photo shoot....! Sometimes in all the flurry of preparation on Sunday mornings, it's tough to make it to church in good moods, minus fighting, and focused on God.  But I was reminded Easter morning.... That our focus HAS to stay in the right place. Jesus is risen from the grave!!! All this dressing up and photo shoots CAN NOT take our eyes off the real reason for Easter!  The gravity of Easter hits me right where it should. The brutal death that my savior died on the cross. The pain and suffering he carried for me. It is a precious and sacred thing.  Don't let me forget all that Jesus went through for me. I am forgiven.  And for that I am so very grateful.

Mothers Day 2014

We had lovely weather and a nice visit with my parents and Inlaws on Mother's Day!  Last year we took these: (Father's Day) & wanted to continue the tradition! Photos like these are such treasures!!! And I am sooo glad we work through the struggles and make sure we take them!!!  (Johnny had to work! Waaahhhh!!) Paga & Maga with 5 of their 7 grand kids! Papa & Nonnie with their 7 grand kids (4 adopted! The adopted grand kids outnumber the bio grands!)  We are so blessed to have family close!! We don't take it for granted. We love you guys!!!!  O... I almost forgot! My sister and her kids were there... O! And my other sister... We took pics but didn't love any of them. I'll post one anyway... For memories :)  And this one is cute of my sis & her kiddos!  And we can't forget the monthly Koa & Brock  pic! Happy May!!!!!
